VisitSugamuxi

ABOUT US.

A project to offer the heart of our culture, naturalism, and heritage with fellow visitors from around the globe

VisitSugamuxi is a website guidance to visit our region Sugamuxi and motivate sustainable tourism. We are not tourism operators or consultants neither give any further advice on activities or tours, other to what is shown in our site.

VisitSugamuxi is owned and hosted by the Fundación Montecito (a family foundation and private environmental NGO); and runs as a service financially aimed to fundraise the environmental work of this nonprofit NGO.

We mainly highlight regional naturalistic attractions in the Sugamuxi region for this simple reason:
To raise awareness and inspire action for environmental protection, we have to provide the experience for visitors to explore the region, the locals, and the culture for themselves. Through this self discovery, a better understanding can be nurtured concerning the interchange among humanity. In the end, we all benefit from this exchange and the world is left as a more loving, accepting, and peaceful gift for generations ahead.

We believe that the environment is an integrated environment (nature and culture) that we share as a species. We work to help make that environment a better place for all, a space for the common good. We strive for a positive change in our socio-enviornmental future and work towards this goal as a community.

We call for a responsible and sustainable tourism of nature, which is a must for environmental protection and improvement. If you experience something important to share or comment regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
