Home » Welcome » Lovely quirky towns
The province of Sugamuxi has 13 towns, with Sogamoso as its capital.

We mean "quirky" towns because they all have their peculiarities! Despite their close proximity to each other, they are still quite different and diverse. Each town specializes in a variety of aspects and activities that sets them apart. Along with keeping the warmth and easy going life of rural Colombia they also maintain the architectural charm of this historical region. The real magic are the locals, who are joyful in welcoming you to their homelands.

The towns in Sugamuxi are authentic. Try to take your time in discovering the area, share and connect with the locals, do some shopping in the tiendas, ask for the characters famosas in each town and visit them. After all, you have to dive in to begin to taste the beauty of Sugamuxi!
You can explore the towns of Sugamuxi either by car, motorcycle, by local buses (short rides, 30 to 45 minutes at the most from each other), by trekking and walks (normally 10 to 20 km between one to another), or by bicycle.
