Sogamoso is the main city of the Sugamuxi province and is where many major bus lines pass through on their way to other cities such as Bogotá, San Gil or Tunja. From Sogamoso's bus terminal are connections to all other towns of Sugamuxi. These various small bus lines usually depart every fifteen minutes, half an hour, or every hour.
