"TIBA, In this context, means Regent horticulturist.
Tibasosa is the city or region where TIBA,the Regent horticulturist, organized the vegetable production and the storage of cotton that was bartered from the twin brothers, Ynka APUYKYNE. The cotton was known to be transported through the veins of GAIA (the Earth)."

Tibasosa is one of the 13 towns of Sugamuxi's province.

Town's full size= 95 km2 (the size of Anguilla -UK-).

Main economic activities: Agriculture, livestock, tourism and crafts.

Easily one of the most lovely and well kept towns in Sugamuxi, Tibasosa is a must visit with mouth-watering cuisine and breathless views of its stunning surroundings.
How to get here:
By bus: From Sogamoso's bus Terminal (west of Sogamoso), every 15 minutes.

By car: Follow the route Sogamoso - Tibasosa, simple! It takes around 10 min.
