shopping

In Sugamuxi, a perfectly-sized town with a booming  150k+ inhabitants, you will find a large assortment of shopping choices in our bustling streets.

In comparison to other regions or similar sized cities, Sugamuxi offers out-of-the-box niches of specialty stores that are hard to find anywhere else. A few examples would be the artisan hat shops and specialty leather/fabric piecework, undiscovered artists showcasing their work through underground alternatives, craft shoe stores, unique desserts and luscious treats, and the welcoming warm aromatics or steamed fruit and herb drinks.

markets

Food markets are especially attractive in Sugamuxi because this region is an important national connection between the low-lands of the Los Llanos area with their warm climate and highland andean markets of Colombia -mainly Bogotá.

So, in Sogamoso and generally in all 13 towns of Sugamuxi, it is quite easy to find markets with assortments of food related to the varying altitudes between 700 to 3,000+ m high.

Sugamuxi is a true tropical delight of flavors and colors to tantalize your tastes and eyes!
