Last Saturday (03rd of June) in a workshop meeting organized at Reserva Natural Pueblito Antiguo next to Lake Tota, a group of stakeholders linked in different ways to the lake came to an agreement to work towards the recognition of Lake Tota as a Green Destination for a sustainable tourism under a gobal criteria.
It is the first step gained as a community for this specific purpose. From now on the challenge will be to gather a comprehensive alliance with an integration of a wider range of stakeholders able to define a strategy and actions to face the challenge to enhance every item from criteria, working closely within the whole stakeholders map of this territory to have a continuous improvement towards sustainability.
